Coatesville Reserve is a beautiful rural parkland area on the corner of Mahoenui Valley Road and the Coatesville-Riverhead Highway. The reserve is bounded on two sides by the wider recreation area colloquially known as the Coatesville Pony Club, a 30 acre haven for horse riders and - on race day - the location of our extensive event car parking area.
Coatesville Reserve also contains the Coatesville Settlers Hall, which is a popular weddings and function venue. On race weekend, the entire reserve is utilised to host the event services and finish line - but you can still find quiet spaces around the edges to watch the action and relax on the grass following your amazing finish.

Your finish liinish line is on the northern side of the reserve and you will be running due north towards the main road as you finish. Adjacent to the hall are our service tents for number collection, merchandise, etc. Note that the gear drop area is nestled under the trees so keep walking south on the reserve to find it.
The all-important portaloos are located in the Coatesville Play Centre car park. To get to them, follow the red dotted line on the map along Mahoenui Valley Road. Go past the start arch and then past the swimming pool. You'll find the portaloos lined up against the eastern facing fence of the swimming pool.

The centre of Coatesville village is dominated by Coatesville Reserve (the event venue) and the adjacent Coatesville Pony Club (where our event parking is situated). Arriving in the village from the east, you will drive past the venue on the corner of Mahoenui Valley Rd to access the car park via Glenmore Rd. Coming from the west, you turn straight into Glenmore Rd opposite the village store. Access to the venue from the car park is via a number of gravel paths and gates - just follow the sound and light.
Event portaloos are located in the Coatesville Playcentre car park, which is on the east side of the outdoor pool. From the venue, walk past the start line to the end of the pool fence and you will find them there.
